We use the following design/build process to ensure we deliver the best possible services to you on a consistent basis.

During the introductory meeting, we gather as much information as possible in order to eliminate the need for multiple meetings.
- Browse examples of our renderings, preliminaries and construction drawing sets
- Review considerations when building a custom home or choosing a stock plan
- Builder or contractor selection
- House square footage and/or budget
- Location of proposed project/review site survey
- Neighborhood architectural covenants or requirements
- Preferred style of house; contemporary, cottage style, Italian, French Country, etc.
- Floor plan preferences, locations of specific rooms
- Rambler, 1 1/2 story, 2 story, etc.
- Basement finish layout if needed
- Exterior style (pictures help a lot)
- Special requirements
- Handicap, solar orientation, special products, etc.
- Discuss the project timeline (not builders timeline) specific to your project
- Complete builders construction standards and Croix contract
- Collect deposit
- Plan for next meeting
- Establish preferred communication; Email, phone, etc.
- Review & approve floor plans and elevations
- Review & approve room dimensions
- Review & approve overall square footage
- Discuss changes (if needed)
- Review special requirements (if needed)

After all drawings have been fully drafted, a check set will be available for your review. (It will be stamped preliminary).
After the check set is approved, we will need:
- The number of sets requested, the county in which the house will be built, name and address for plans front page.
- Upon completion, the preliminary stamp will be removed and a final bill will be submitted and must be paid in full for receipt of the final drawings.
